Anthony Robbins (International speaker, trainer, coach and author) – spends a significant amount of time prior to any event, speaking engagement, meeting etc, defining, choosing and intending the way he wishes to feel.
Among other things, he does this by repeating certain key sentences in a particular way to deliberately produce a more empowered sense of wellbeing. These positively affirming statements, when combined with feeling, energy and emotion, are called “incantations” and below I’ll include some that are appropriate for several different situations, one to lift you up, and one to allow more abundance to enter your life.
Incantation/Affirmation To Lift Your Emotional State:
I am the voice
Now I am the voice.
I will lead not follow,
I will believe, not doubt,
I will create, not destroy.
I am a force for good
I AM A leader.
Incantation/Affirmation To Allow Abundance:
Gods’ wealth is circulating in my life.
Gods’ wealth flows to me in avalanches of abundance.
All my needs, desires and goals are met instantaneously by infinite intelligence, where I am one with God and God is everything.~ Tony Robbins
How Can We Influence People Around Us?
Tony uses the incantation technique to raise his vibration and give him what some people call “power of influence”. But we can only have power of influence with others who are in close proximity to our own vibrational frequency otherwise any value we think we might be able to offer, falls on deaf ears; they are too far “out of range” to really hear us. (You already know how annoying someones bright and happy attitude can be when we feel really bad ourselves … you just want to tell them to get lost).
How Can I Really Understand Where Someone Else Is At?
The quickest and easiest way to decipher the difference between our own emotional frequency and the emotional frequency of someone else is to ask “what are the dominant emotions being felt right now?”
Someone who is feeling depressed or powerless is nowhere near the vibration of love and appreciation and no matter how hard you try, they just can’t feel you. In order to “feel better” themselves, they can either meditate and stop their thoughts completely or consciously work their way up the emotional scale … the goal being to get a sense of “relief” each time.
I like to use the Abraham-Hicks™ EMOTIONAL GUIDANCE SCALE which has been responsible for giving me a much clearer understanding of how to consciously shift OUT of a ‘Crazy 8 Emotional Pattern” which is an emotional cycle that keep shifting from depression to anger and back again.
Can I Control My Own Emotions Too?
With practice, intention and caring about how I feel, I’ve found that I DO have the power to choose my emotional state each day. So before I say anything at all,
I’ve learned that it’s always best to open my heart before I open my mouth.
